This is just what I needed.

This hot air popcorn popper is small. It makes enough for a nice bowl of popcorn for one person. You need to let it cool between batches, so if you need more popcorn than that you might want to consider a larger one. But I am very pleased with the quality of this popper. I'm the only one in my home that eats popcorn so it's perfect! It's lightweight and a nice pretty light blue color. It does a good job and the popcorn tastes very good. I had purchased a glass popper for the microwave, but it made the popcorn taste slightly burnt. I found out that using the silicone popper releases toxins into the food, so I gave up using that. Since I am on a Whole Foods Plant Based diet, I don't use oils of any kind. This popper is perfect for me.

small

Nothing fancy for sure. Plain popcorn. No adding oil or butter, just air popped. My son wanted one and he loves red, so here we are. When it arrived, it was well packaged, no damaged box or missing parts. He busted it out (mind you he's 23) and went to town on popping corn. He found out the hard way, that this is a tiny (personal) popper and that you should really fill it up as he only did half a batch and the popcorn shot out everywhere (dogs were happy!). Plus a bigger bowl was need to catch the corn. After a little trial and error, he got it down and yet he's decided to keep it but now desires a bigger one; as these batches are a bit small. You still get a few un-popped kernels but not many. If you want salt to stick to it, you'll need to melt butter after the fact and then drizzle/sprinkle; but then I feel that defeats the purpose. I recommend to use for a single small batch but if you've got a crowd, I recommend sizing up!
